We've had an addition to the schedule and some time changes as well. I blogged earlier in the season about how crazy even the slightest of changes can be. But who cares when you get to add another great band to the lineup! Take note that Iron Butterfly (Website HERE) will be joining the Main Stage at the Convention Center at 4PM on Saturday February 7th. At the Chameleon on Saturday we have a switch up to make sure Poppa Chubby can get here in time from a previous gig. So he will be switching up with Nikki Hill who will take the stage from 5:00 - 6:15PM and Poppa Chubby will join us at 9:45 - 11PM.

Did you take photos of last year’s Lancaster Roots & Blues? OR, did you attend a performance of any of THIS year’s lineup of artists? Choose your best pics and post them to our Instagram page! All our visitors will “Like” their favorite photos. The person who posted the most popular photo based on “Likes” as of Friday, January 30, 2015 will win two 2-day VIP passes to LRB2015, Feb. 6 and Feb. 7, 2015! PLUS, you'll receive a new iPad courtesy of Fine Living Lancaster magazine!
The photos can be performance shots, or action shots of the crowd. The photos MUST be either ones you took at last year’s LRB2014, or photos you took of any of this year’s Featured Artists who appeared at another venue in the past. We’ll remove any photo that doesn’t meet those two criteria. Be sure to comment on your post with the artist name, venue, date, etc.
Well snap, if I didn't work for the festival, you know I would be all about scoring that new iPad!! So good luck, break legs and al that jazzy jazz!
How does the whole ticket process work?
When you order, as you scroll down through the order page you have the option to either have the tickets sent to you, (At no additional charge- Best option) or you may print them or have them delivered to your mobile device or held at Will Call at the festival.
If you print your own ticket or use mobile delivery or will call, there are only 2 will call windows at the festival. One is in the lobby of the Convention Center and one at Chameleon Club. You will need to bring your self-printed or mobile ticket to a Will Call call window to receive your festival wristband.
If you have a hard ticket sent to you, you can enter any venue at the festival without going to a Will Call window first. Keep in mind; if you have the tickets sent now, you need to keep them in a safe place.
Where to Stay!
Marriott Hotel at Penn Square
The Marriott is the home of the Convention center where 8 bands will be playing the festival over the weekend including Live on Friday night and Big Sam's Funky Nation on Saturday night and a stone's throw from Tellus360. I would reserve earlier because they are sure to sell out within the week.
25 South Queen St.
Lancaster, PA 17603
The hotel Lancaster is a great place to stay while enjoying shows at the Trust, DIpco, the Federal and the Elks. Also within distance of all of the venues and a comfortable luxurious stay for the weekend.
26 East Chestnut St.
Lancaster, PA 17601
That is all for the start of this week. Stay tuned for more info and thanks as always for stopping by!
Cheers and congo drums,
