It's 1:11 PM, make a wish. In the event world, every planner wakes up every day leading up to the event in hopes that every detail will be resting on the dotted line without change. However, every planner knows that this is not the case and until you are safe in sound in the comfort of your own bed at the very end of the event will you be able to breath. And even then there can be shrapnel to clean up in the weeks following. But why jump ahead. Today we have but one hurdle to overcome and sadly it is unfortunate. The lovely and talented Morgan James will not be able to perform with us as she will be on a spectacular tour in Europe. Sad faces all around. The schedules and postcards are printed, the word has hit the street and yet I know in the heart of hearts this may only be the beginning of changes. So we put one foot forward and open the schedule spot to a new artist which we will reveal in upon confirmation.

We are still in the works of nailing down the headliner for Saturday night and if my 1:11PM wish comes true, I will be writing the happiest blog ever :) And no, I won't be spilling any hints!!

On the up and up of notes, we met with all of the stage managers Wednesday night at Tellus360.

So now that I am back in town, I really need to get more in the loop with all of these new places that have popped up over the years. Tellus360 is one of our venues for the festival and the only way I can describe it is Rad. Yes, I still favor that word! When you walk in there is the Front stage right in front of the window facing the street. A fairly decent sized bar, a DJ setup, tables and if you venture in to the back, you will find the Main Stage. If you check the schedule HERE, you can find out what bands are playing which stage. Heck you could go from one room to the next all day for two days if you wanted!  Our meeting was upstairs, and I mean... Up Up stairs! There is a mini second floor where the kitchen posts up and then in the 360 whirl, you'll find the top level. Here you can sit around and gossip, grab a drink at the other bar, play ping pong, read a book or get jiggy with it. Super cool place, and I'm super glad they are on the bill. You can check out their site HERE.

Anywho... the stage managers. Man there is a lot of history through music and Lancaster with this group. I could sit and listen to them chat all day. From old security guards, drummers, bass players, singers... you name it and they were there and still play to the day. The meeting went well and everyone has their info and guidelines which is a great start as the countdown continues to roll forward. It's amazing to have such a great team in charge of each venue. Most are repeat from last year and a few newbies, but even the newbies have their heads on straight and ready to rock. What a relief! When you have a great team by your side, no matter what obstacles come across your path, you will always find a way.

So in the best of news...

We are starting the 12 days of Christmas promotion tomorrow!  When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) over the next 12 days, you will be automatically entered to win a PAIR of VIP tickets (Values at $450).
